Diversity in Education

The mission of the Georgia Organization of School-Based SLPs is to serve Georgia's school-based SLPs by providing professional support, public awareness, and opportunities for professional growth by being an advocate for school-based SLPs and the individuals they serve.

In light of the recent acts of violence against Black Americans, we are ready to assist those we serve, our colleagues, students, and professionals in their communities.

For many educators, the summer is an opportunity for personal professional development outside of the school building. With that in mind, GO SSLP is building this list of books and other resources that relate to teaching a diverse group of students for educators in general and SLPs in particular. It is our hope that this will be a collaborative effort for the benefit of all of Georgia's School-Based SLPs and for those we serve. If you have any additional resources you think would be beneficial to your colleagues, please send a link to [email protected]
